Pride, Brick by Brick

The work is not done.

At this start of Pride Month, I'm reminded of the change and growth I've gone through and even how much change our communities and nations have gone through. Yet, the work is not done.

As I look at news headlines, new laws, and the pushback from certain sectors, it is a stark reminder the work is not done.

As I celebrate this month with my LGBTQ+ friends and family, their fear and hopes for the future remind me the work is not done.

I'm committed to the work and I hope you are too because the work is not done.
